BDB
formed in late 1997 when songwriter Paul Bromwell asked vocalist Elaine
Diehl to sing a demo of a few of his new tunes. The pair clicked
immediately and invited Paul's drumming buddy, Mark Tipton, to
join them on percussion, and Jan Diehl to play bass and sax. BDB's
first public performance was just after Christmas, 1997, at Habits Cafe.
Since that
first night, BDB has appeared at Seasongood Pavilion, Piatt Park,
Borders Music and Books, Allyn's The Barrelhouse, Summerfair, Jammin' on
Main and the Lilith Fair. Songs from the CD are heard regularly on
WNKU, WVXU, WAIF and WOXY, and BDB performed twice on WXIX's 19 in the
Morning TV show. The band was nominated for a Cincinnati
Entertainment Award in November, 2000, in the category of Adult
Contemporary Artist.
You can
listen to a few of our songs online, read the lyrics or better yet,
purchase a copy of the complete CD. We're glad you stopped by!
